The product
Prozilio is an AI career tool for freelancers on Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer and People Per Hour. A freelancer sets up their personas and projects once, then pastes a job post and gets a proposal written in their own voice, citing work they have actually done.
The same profile feeds resumes, interview prep and Fiverr gig copy, and a Chrome extension scores Upwork jobs from 1 to 10 before the freelancer spends connects on them.
The challenge
Generic AI cover letters are easy to spot, and they cost a freelancer the job. The useful material, real projects, outcomes and skills, sits in old resumes and portfolios where a chatbot never sees it.

A proposal only stands out when it cites the freelancer’s own work. Writing that by hand for every job is slow.

The Chrome extension
A Manifest V3 Chrome Extension brings Prozilio onto the job boards. It asks only for the job board hosts and a few Chrome APIs, and signs in to the app with OAuth and PKCE.
Apply or skip score
Each Upwork job gets a score from 1 to 10 from the client’s hire rate, competition, client history, interviews in progress and invites sent. The scoring is deterministic, with no AI call, so it costs nothing per job.
Proposals in a side panel
The side panel reads the open job, lets the freelancer pick a persona and generates the proposal without leaving the page.
Skill matching without network calls
Skills are stored as embeddings in PostgreSQL with pgvector. Each persona’s expanded skill list is worked out when it is saved and sent down with it, so the extension matches job skills locally on every card.
One scoring path
The free job scorer on prozilio.com runs the same scoring service as the extension, so the public tool is an honest preview of the product.
How it works
Laravel and Inertia
A Laravel 13 backend with an Inertia.js, React 19 and TypeScript front end. Controllers call services, and services call repositories, so no query lives in a controller.
Admin-configured AI agents
Proposal, persona, project, bio, resume summary, CV import and gig agents each carry their own provider, model, temperature and prompts, set in a Filament admin panel. OpenAI is the default, with Anthropic, Gemini and DeepSeek configured.
Credits and billing
AI work is metered in credits. Polar handles checkout and subscriptions, while plan limits stay in the app. Webhooks are stored once per event and processed on Laravel Horizon queues, so a repeated delivery changes nothing.
Content and SEO
The public site, blog and free tools run from the same app, with a built-in CMS and server-rendered SEO tags.
Where it is now
Prozilio is live at prozilio.com. Every account starts with a 14-day trial of the Full-Time plan with 15 AI credits and no card. After the trial it keeps a free plan with 5 AI credits a month, and paid plans start at $8 a month.
